Alpine Camera is able to scan and digitize the valuable image content found in 35mm and 110mm slides, photos, negatives, and various film strips. Order turnaround for service delivery is usually three weeks, and we return to you a separate data folder containing the individual digitized images and a video slideshow on DVD or Blu-ray Disc made from the digital images, accompanied with background music and onscreen titles. If on Blu-ray Disc, the video slideshow is a high definition presentation showing off the higher resolution and color from our 3,000 ppi scans of 35mm slides and up to 6,000 ppi scans of photographs.
Our "white gloves" conversion process employs auto-correction software to remove dust specks, spots, and enhance color. For standard image scanning, we scan slides at 3,000ppi resolution, and photos at either 600ppi or 1200ppi resolution. We offer higher scanning rates as an optional service. For the resultant video slideshows made from the images, we will crop and right-size and properly orient the digital images, add your choice of background music and onscreen titles, and make suggestions for image transitions and presentation to the intended audience. The video slideshow is a great extra for special events such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation party, and any other special occasion.
