The third iteration in the legendary professional-level "F" cameras, the Nikon F3 was introduced in 1980 as a drastic shift from previous models. Retaining the features that made the F-series of cameras famous: the removable viewfinders, focusing screens, and other parts that made it a true "system camera", but now with an electronically-controlled shutter, and a LCD meter. There's a reason this camera is now a cult classic.
