Alpine Camera helps customers save their images and videos taken with cellphones and camcorders by conversion and transfer of this digital content from SD card or camcorder hard-drive to DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and "useful" data file formats such as .mov or .mp4.

Not all stuff that needs to be transferred to DVD or Blu-ray Disc comes from yesterday’s 8mm and 16mm movie film, VHS tapes, or 35mm slides. Newly recorded digital content also needs to be saved and preserved, and sometimes "refreshed". Content from older DVDs can be refreshed and consolidated onto Blu-ray Disc for better play on HDTV.
