The first camera to offer a "Program" full auto-exposure mode, the Canon A-1 made waves when it was released in 1978. Taking the existing shutter-speed priority modes that previous Canon camera models had offered, the A-1 offered aperture priority, and combined the two thanks to an inbuilt microprocessor, for that revolutionary full program mode.
This kit includes a black Canon A-1 camera body, a Canon FD 50mm f1.8 lens, and a 4LR44 battery.
