Canon's response to other professional-level SLRs on the market in the 1970s, the Canon F-1 was an extremely ruggedly-built, solid film SLR, with true system-camera modularity. Featuring interchangeable focusing screens and finders, and built-in motor drive compatibility, the Canon F-1 was ready for anything that was thrown at it.
Canon's motor drive MF is the second, improved motor drive made available for the Canon F-1, featuring a convenient battery grip, and a maximum shooting speed of 3.5 frames per second.
The Speed Finder is a truly unique viewfinder, allowing the photographer to view the entire frame, but also can pivot and rotate to effectively become a waist-level finder.
