With sharp, classic, yet minimalistic design, the Canon VT de Luxe Z is a classic 35mm rangefinder camera. Manufactured between 1957 and 1958, the Canon VT de Luxe features a built-in rapid-winder in the base, a parallax-corrected rangefinder, and a hinged rear door for improved film loading. This particular model, dubbed the VT de Luxe Z by collectors, introduces a key on the base plate to unlock the back door, preventing it from opening up unintentionally. The camera body features the standard M39/LTM "Leica thread mount" front lens mount, which can mount a plethora of lenses.
Includes Canon VT de Luxe Z camera body, Canon 50mm f1.5 M39 screw-mount lens, original leather case, lens hood, and other accessories.
Shutter fires at all speeds, though slow speeds sound a bit fast. Rangefinder is accurate, and nice and bright. Lens has very slight traces of what may be fungus.
