Introduced in 1954, the M3 was the first camera in Leica's long line of "M" cameras. 

This camera, serial 1041739 was built in 1961. It features a "single stroke" advance lever. Uniquely it features the 14620 Rapid Load Kit (note the sticker on the inside of the camera). 

In excellent user condition and working properly. Shutter is firing properly at all speeds. Film advance is smooth. Rangefinder appears accurate. Viewfinder is clean. See photos. Includes 14260 Rapid Load Kit.
