The camera that propelled the Nikon name to international renown, the Nikon F was the first SLR released by Nikon, and set a legacy in motion. In terms of features, the F wasn't particularly revolutionary in its feature set: an instant return mirror, pentaprism viewfinder, and even interchangeable viewfinders and focusing screens weren't introduced by the camera- but what it did introduce were all those features in a simple, yet sturdy and rugged package.

Includes Nikon F camera body, Nikon Photomic FTn metered prism, and Nikkor 50mm f1.4 Non-AI lens.

In excellent condition, very light signs of prior use. Metered prism head is functional. Rewind knob features rare engraving designating tax-free export, and were commonly purchased by stationed US military personnel.
