The venerable Nikon F2 was produced from 1971 to 1980, and throughout it's production camera technology rapidly advanced. By having interchangeable metering prisms, Nikon was able to constantly iterate and improve the meter of the Nikon F2, and the DP-12 was the final and most advanced meter.
