Introduced in 1980, featuring dramatic new styling while maintaining the durability of it's predecessors, the Nikon F3 was an immediate success. The F3 transitioned to an electronically-controlled shutter for improved accuracy, and introduced an internal LCD display for metering information. Nikon also followed the tradition of iterative improvements set by previous F-series camera bodies, and introduced a "High Eye-point" viewfinder (shortened to "HP") allowing photographers with glasses improved ease of use.

Includes Nikon F3 camera body, featuring "High Eyepoint" (HP) prism finder, a Nikkor 50mm f1.8 AI-S lens, and two LR44 batteries to power the camera and meter.

Fully functional; showing signs of moderate prior use, including surface-level paint wear and brassing. "HP" prism finder has notable dent in center, but has no effect on functionality, and prism itself internally is unaffected.
