One of the best-selling mirrorless cameras of all time, and the start of Sony's very successful 6000-series of cameras, the Sony Alpha a6000 was the introduction of the new direction. Taking the 24.3 megapixel sensor of it's predecessor, the a6000 introduced both increased sensitivity, up to ISO 25,600, as well as improved noise handling, but also introduced improved file-handling options, such as an onboard Wi-Fi network, and NFC file transfer. Weighing only 12 ounces, and measuring less than 5 inches wide and 2 inches thick, the a6000 is a very powerful tool in a compact package.
