One of the largest manufacturer of Japanese-made twin-lens reflex (TLR) cameras, Yashica made a wide variety of cameras, and the Yashica 635 is a particularly unique one. Equipped from the factory to use both 120 roll film and 35mm film, with the use of a special accessory kit. While they may not exactly match the Rolleiflex cameras they closely followed, Yashica TLR cameras were durable and simple, a perfect entry point for medium format photography.
Camera features rare <EP> engraving, suggesting camera was sold abroad, but was marked for exemption for local taxes or import duties.
